Chalet

Update:

People, as it's well-known, our chalet would fall on the 28th to 30th of november.

The chalet BBQ would most likely be held on the second nite, I think, pardon me if I'm wrong.

Hmm, maybe it's time we start to suggest what the activities would be held there, unless the class would not question it until after the Os,maybe then they would be too busy over preparation for prom nite and celebrations. =D

If the class have no objection, then this planning of the activities be left to the organising committee to decide. Don't worry, there'll be morning runs from 4.20am to 8am. Just kidding though not funny.

And ya, hanisah and shasha, please take time off to book the chalet already, it's going to be the peak period soon when people books attractive packages like the one we wanted. Class 2/1 had already booked their's, same venue as us, same package but starting from 29th november.

What I heard from them is that this package is available through AXS stations in the near vicinity, thus we don't need to travel that far, just someone with NETS will do.

Anyway, my hopes for the committee be these people, no offence if your name is not in, but if you sure you want to join, feel free to contact me, though I'm not really in charge, but I'll play a backstage role for the chalet if possible, I've a hell of a time organising the other one before our class chalet, since it has to cater to WILDER people.

Hanisah (Activities)
Nicole (Activities)
Shasha (Accounts)
Tuck Wen (no favouritism here, he's a good guy to help in class stuff)(Logistics)
Xiao Qian (Limiting Reactant, make sure the chalet isn't that wild)
Me (I'll do the 'what-to-bring-and-what-not-to' list, if agreeable)
Willy (Pro-ed BBQ-er)
Fizah (Ah lian, protection and security purposes, jkjk... just laming ard, stress la, nowadays...)

Vacany for transport and resources, if you think you can plan the movement of goods and can assist Tuck Wen with the flow of items, please feel free to tell me.

Council:
Annie (First-aid advice on activites planned, just in case)
Class (Let's face it, if the activity isn't popular, it's of no use)

that's it...

Studying in school

If you are really looking for a peaceful place to study during the weekends, or rather, Saturdays, go to the school canteen. Trust me, it's a very good place to be able to concentrate fully on your work, and the only distractions that will come are mostly because of yourself and your own devices and maybe a passing Mrs Yip asking you about your own personal details and making small talk.

Studying in school on Saturday has the convinience of the 'night clinic' because most of the teachers are in the staffroom doing their own work and would be more than welcome to help you with a question or two anytime. Also, it does without the rowdiness and noise of those who choose to play a fool during the night study hours.

There also is not much redtape to do with, except of course signing into the school on a weekend with Mr David. There is no need to take attendance, and there is almost no need for any records of signing up for any programme whatsoever. So, you can choose to come or not, and it is not compulsory at all.

In my opinion, it really is quite conducive.

O$P$

Hey people... Just a gentle reminder.

Some of you owe the school library books. If I'm not wrong, and I hope this is alright, here are the names. You can check with the list that is provided in front of the HOD room.

Thandar
Yi Ting
Nasihah
Rohanna

Please remember to return or pay back unless you want O$P$ signs spray painted or pig heads hung in front of your doors. Check the amount of money that you have pay back on the list. I can't remember it offhand. And can somebody be kind enough to remind them when in school, in case they do not have internet access?

Remember what Ms Lim said about this being important and that have to be cleared before being able to collect results and what other more important documents. So let's just do them this tiny bit of favour. :)
